ACD is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to mobilize people, partners, resources, media, leadership, and practical projects around the future Africa deserves.

ACD exists to build the structure, credibility, partnerships, and visibility needed for long-term African development impact.
ACD does not treat Africa as a project. We treat Africa as a partner, a leader, and a future worth building.
African Coalition for Development is a Pan-African nonprofit institution focused on practical, Africa-led development. We bring together communities, nonprofits, donors, diaspora leaders, entrepreneurs, media voices, youth leaders, and country partners to support projects that improve lives and strengthen local systems.
Our work is rooted in a simple conviction: Africa’s future must be shaped by Africans, strengthened by the diaspora, and supported by responsible partners who respect local leadership.
ACD is built for serious development work — projects, grants, partnerships, recognition, media, events, and community empowerment operating under one clear institutional platform.
ACD exists to organize the builders, funders, leaders, stories, and systems required to move from conversation to action.
Across the continent and diaspora, there are entrepreneurs, teachers, nurses, farmers, innovators, civic leaders, and community organizations already solving problems.

ACD is not built around one program alone. It is built as a platform: one organization with multiple doors for action. A donor can support a project. A nonprofit can become a partner. A leader can be recognized. A story can be amplified. A volunteer can serve. A community can be strengthened.
This is what makes ACD different. We connect development work, media, grants, leadership, and partnership into one ecosystem.
This is more than a slogan. It is ACD’s operating belief. We welcome partnership, funding, media support, technical assistance, and global collaboration — but we believe African communities must remain at the center of African development.
We speak about communities with respect and treat people as partners, not problems.
We build clear pathways for support, reporting, communication, and accountability.
We believe local leadership and African-led solutions must guide the work.
We use media to amplify solutions, not just suffering.
ACD is designed to connect action and visibility across development, media, events, recognition, and partnership.
Education, youth, women’s empowerment, food security, health, water, infrastructure, media, leadership, and community advancement.
ACD connects donors, country partners, diaspora organizations, nonprofits, companies, institutions, and volunteers around practical action.
Through Pan African Half Hour, Pan African News Media, events, and recognition platforms like 50 Under 50, ACD gives visibility to those building the future.
Visitors can donate, sponsor a project, adopt a project, volunteer, become ambassadors, submit stories, attend summits, or partner with ACD.
ACD is building a high-trust development ecosystem. We are inviting serious organizations and leaders to join us in building a platform that can serve across borders, sectors, and communities.
Whether you are a nonprofit, foundation, diaspora organization, university, country partner, media partner, company, donor, or volunteer, there is a place for you inside the coalition.
ACD is growing a coalition of partners committed to practical African development and responsible collaboration.
